Where Did The Name Come From?
The name Grasshopper Club, represents the learning, exploration, and connection to grass. In addition, Grasshopper Club is a play on words with “GrasShopper” or Grass Shopper, emphasizing the connection to cannabis we all have.
How Does Grasshopper Club Qualify For Social Equity?
Having direct experience with the war on Drugs, co-owner Chuck Brewer was arrested for cannabis possession as a young adult.
When his brother, Matthew Brewer was exposed to the Illinois cannabis industry in 2015, they both immediately realized the lack of diversity and racial disparities in the industry.
This motivated both brothers and their mother, Dianne Brewer, to join forces as a family and apply for a license. From there, the Grasshopper Club was born.

3 months agoEdit 7/8/24 A great selection, staff, and pricing and quality on the higher end, but very competitive. If you sort the menu by price and thc %, in just the right way, there's always a great unique selection on both the high and low side, budget friendly! Have been 3 or 4 times since my last review, and the store has revamped their membership, Cloud Club, and it's easily above and beyond most all dispensary loyalty programs. At 1501 spend you get 1.25 points per dollar, at 2501+, you get 1.5 dollars back. I have yet to see such a generous loyalty program. A regular head like me is easily going to max that out in a few months! I have been to one of their Cloud Club events, and it was Top Tier, high-end restaurant catering, lots of freebies from the Club! Cool swag(that you actually use!)

2 months agoDONT BUY DISPOSABLE PRODUCTS HERE!! IF IT IS BROKEN OR NOT WORKING, YOU WILL NOT RECIVE A REFUND, NOT AN EXCHANGE-NOTHING! I purchased a pen yesterday and when I opened it, nothing came out. Came back to ask for either an exchange or credit or something. But no. Their "policy " is to walk the customer out of the building away from cameras; they told me that I'd have to make a video (?) and send it to the manufacturer. The manufacturer "might" take care of giving me a new product even tho i purchased the pen from Grasshopper (?!?!?) And when I showed that the pen wasn't working properly compared to my old pen; I was told: well something is coming out of the new pen therfore it works, therfore we can't give you an exchange or credit. And she said was conducting this entire interaction OUTSIDE THE STORE ON THE SIDEWALK. What kind of business conducts business on the sidewalk!? SO to recap, I paid $90 for a disposable pen, that CLEARLY did not work, they have my $$$ and I'm just S.O.L with no product and no refund/credit!! NEVER SHOP HERE EVERYONE!! THESE PEOPLE ARE THEIVES!!!
